Dean Wilson, like many AMA riders, is getting his outdoor set-up sorted in the middle of the two week break from supercross.
The US Nationals begin at the end of May and the supercross break has allowed teams and riders a rare chance to get ahead with some testing without sacrificing supercross preparation for the current season.
But the switch to outdoors from the short, sharp indoor jump infested supercross races are a different ball game and it takes some getting used too – especially with the Florida heat!
Wilson said: “Solid Day 2 of outdoors for me. Whew she’s hot, sweaty n gritty. Outdoors ain’t for no softies.2
