Results: Nashville supercross – Jett Lawrence wins!

The 450 main saw two of the big stars crash out as Jett Lawrence ran down Eli Tomac for the win to take a five point lead in the championship with Cooper Webb third, but not having the pace of Jett Lawrence despite starting with him.

Chase Sexton crashed out bizarrely, almost looping out then casing a jump and getting slung over the bars while he battled for top five early in the race.

Then Roczen, who was second and right in the battle for the lead with Tomac and Lawrence appeared to have his shock break on landing from a triple and, as Roczen entered the whoops the bike ejected Roczen into the air and unto the ground hard with Roczen hobbling off with what looks like a knee injury.

Jett said: “I hate losing! So that losing streak really sucked. Pumped to get it done here. Felt good, hit my marks, bummed for Kenny. Hope he is okay.”

It was an explosive start to the 250 main event and Mitch Payton’s worst nightmare with the already injured Cameron McAdoo colliding with teammate Levi Kitchen in the air of the first rhythm lane leaving both riders on the floor!

Both would get you but McAdoo pulled out after getting lapped by Tom Vialle who was running third and finished there in a smart ride for the East title with Haiden Deegan overcoming a bad start and a crash for sixth.

RJ Hampshire took the win with Shimoda third and it was Hampshire who took the red plate by two points with Kitchen coming from way back to 14th…and at least keep himself in contention with two rounds to go.

RJ said: “Just executed my start, I feel like I always have the speed. A big weight off my shoulders, I knew I could close the points gap, I didn’t expect to make that much.”

Vialle said: “I couldn’t see. I saw Cameron had an issue but tried to stay focused on my race, the track was tricky and you had to stay focused.”
