Race results: MX2 World Championship RD4 – Adamo takes first GP win at Arco di Trento

Race One: What a race at a super technical and slick Arco di Trento track. It was all about the Belgian’s for the majority of the race with Jago Geerts at the front with Liam Everts impressive in second with his amazing on the pegs style. Andrea Adamo didn’t get the best of starts but passed Thibault Benistant and put on a charge! The Italian put on a superb pass on Liam Everts for second on the final lap. Kay de Wolf came home in fifth after an early race crash trying to pass the impressive Emil Weckman. Simon Laengenfelder had a terrible start but came back to ninth – he’s another one that will feel he has the pace to run at the very front with a good start.

Race Two: Geerts got tagged going down the start straight which saw him have a bad start and then got hit by another rider saw him down on the deck on the opening lap – then when he the bike up he got hit behind again which saw him dead last and a lot of work to do. At the front Laengenfelder was leading and it was a carbon copy of the qualifying race – he dominated! Adamo passed Everts and Benistant to take his first overall MX2 GP win in front of the Italian crowd – what a day! Everts rode superb for third to take second overall – a KTM 1-2. Geerts came back to seventh to take the last step on the podium.
