Race results: EMX125 RD2 – Reisulis dominates Arco di Trento

Race One: Janis Reisulis took a dominate first race win as his championship contender, Mathis Valin had a moto to forget. Valin went down in a first corner pile up and after quickly getting back up to sixteenth went down again before eventually finishing eighteenth. Max Werner rode well on his Fantic to hold off Max Ernecker for second with Gyan Doensen an impressive fourth.

Race Two: The second moto was much of the same for Reisulis as he dominated proceedings at the front of the field. The Latvian nicknamed ‘killer’ didn’t get the best of starts but quickly found his way into the lead to dominate and he now has the red plate. It was a good GP for Fantic as Escandell finished a strong second with Werner in fourth in the second moto as both riders ended up on the podium. Doensen made a late pass on Marek to finish seventh behind Frisk to just miss out on the podium but he is a fast learner. Alm responded after a first moto DNF to finish an impressive third – the privateer is one to keep an eye on as he’s made a great start to the season.
