The JK Yamaha team have decided to sign up another up and coming young rider for the 2022 season. Adrien Petit who won the 2021 YZ bLUcRU Superfinal initially secured a ride with the Ausio Yamaha team but there’s been a change of plans and he’ll now be under the JK Yamaha awning.
Petit will join up with Nicola Salvini to contest the EMX125 series while the team also have Alvin Ostlund (MXGP), Manuel Iacopi (selected EMX events) and Lynn Valk (WMX) under the awning.
“We are happy to confirm that 2021 YZ bLUcRU Superfinal Winner Adrien Petit will join the team for the coming EMX125 season onboard the brand new YZ125”, JK Yamaha confirmed.
“Very happy to announce that the JK Racing MX team will be with me throughout the 2022 season. I really want to thank @yamahamotorfr @yamaharacingcomofficial for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. A big thank you to Riccardo Boschi and to the whole JK Racing MX team for welcoming me to their structure”, Petit stated on social media.
